Most of the Paignton and Torbay 's visitors are still from the British Isles, although short breaks from our contintental cousins are becomoing popular. Most visitors arrive through a combination of road, rail, sea and air. Information on this can be found below.

Torbay is served by a main railway line, the M5 motorway to Exeter , airports in both Exeter and Plymouth , a main sea port in Plymouth together with an international marina in Torquay and three harbours at Brixham, Paignton and Torquay.

Take the M4 from West or East of the country to the M5 going south from Bristol . Follow the M5 south, then at Exeter (90 miles from Bristol ) take the A380 dual carriageway to Newton Abbot and Torquay. At the end of this dual carriageway is the Penn Inn roundabout. Take the second exit toward Torquay and follow the signs.

After approximately 6 miles you will come to a large roundabout - turn right to Paignton and Brixham, this takes you along the Dual Carriage way which, is the ring road. You will find Paignton signposted to the left off this road or alternatively carry on to the second set of traffic lights and turn left to Paignton.
